USA/ Trump threatens Europe and Canada if they ally against the U.S.

In a late-night social media post, the president declared that he would impose "large scale" tariffs if Canada and the European Union joined forces to "economically harm" America. The New York Times reports: "If the European Union collaborates with Canada to economically harm the USA, large scale tariffs, far bigger than those currently planned, will be imposed to protect the best friend each of these two countries has ever had!" Trump wrote.
